Dox started running a high fever during the middle of the
day. He also began coughing spells. He was extremely fussy and moaning. I began giving him Tylenol and Motrin. We also began
offering Pedialyte and rubbing him with a cool rag. At 10:10pm his left eye and left hand began jerking. His leg started jerking
shortly after them. He also had excessive drool. The seizure lasted until 10:14pm. He had received his doses of Lamictal for
the day. He had not had any missed doses. At 10:30pm I took his temp – it was 103° rectally. All night he continued
to moan. He slept in the bed with Marion and me. Sunday – Dox still running fever. I started giving him his antihistamine.
Monday his fever was a little lower and he seemed to feel a little better. Tuesday he showed no fever. Coughing was prevalent
during all these days. He ate fairly well. His stamina was very low.

I took Dox to Dr. Bruno today. He concluded from Dox’s
symptoms and what I had related from the last few days that Dox had RSV. He started him on Zithromax and a steroid. He also
gave him a shot of antibiotic and steroid before he dismissed him. He quarantined Dox from school until after January 14,
2005.

I finally got back to school! I missed my friends and Ms.
Lori and Ms. Vickie. It was fun getting to be with the kids again!

I met a nice doctor today! His name is Dr. Mixon. He looked
at my ears and in my throat. He cleaned out a bunch of gunky wax from my ears. He told Momma that he thought I had some fluid
in my ears. He gave her a prescription for some medicine to help it go away. I hope it tastes good!

Today we visited Dr. Piccione. He looked at my eyes. He told
Momma that the nerves in the back of my eyes are not developed. He said that based on his experience, they probably wouldn’t
develop. Nia said I was special and anything could happen. And you know what? She’s right

My tomato chair came in today! Woo Hoo!! Now I can sit up
like a big boy and watch my favorite shows like the Wiggles, Tom and Jerry and Charlie Brown. It has wheels on it so Momma
can roll me around the house with her and keep her company. You can see a picture of it here: http://www.adaptivemall.com/smalmpspusch.html Mine has a floor base.

Today I had a swallow study done. I had to eat my food with
something they called barium. My food didn’t taste any different. The ladies that did the testing told Momma that I
was holding the food in the back of my throat and kinda letting it fall down my throat. Shoot – I coulda told them that.
I gotta get all the flavor out before it goes away. Anyhow, they had some suggestions about exercises to help me swallow better.
Momma’s got her hands full now....

A nice lady came to talk us today. She is a writer for The
Times of Acadiana. Momma sent out letters to the local newspapers and TV stations. She called and asked if she could do an
interview. They want to do a story on me for their paper. She asked all kinds of questions about what I do and where I go.
She is really nice! This is really exciting!

Gramma & Grampa Walker came to see me for Easter. I couldn't
visit alot - I was in the hospital with pneumonia. Momma and Daddy were really worried about me. Dr. Bruno fixed me right
up though. I really like him!

I had pneumonia again. Dr. Bruno set me up in the hospital
and his friend, Dr. Sayed, took real good care of me. This time, Dr. Bruno had Momma take me to get RSV shots. I took
them from November '05 thru May '06. Do you know I didn't even get a runny nose the whole time I took them? Momma said she's
really glad.
