February 1, 2003   We got into our own house. Pop asked Mom what he could do and she told him to get us a house and get his mojo working. And that's just what he did! March, 2003   I got 3 more teefff. Now I can really get with those pork chops! (don't know what those are, maybe it is related to that rain thing...) March 4, 2003   I had to go to Dr. Stowe's today. I was running a high fever and Mom wanted me checked out. She thought I sounded like I might be congested too. Found out I had an ear infection and another infection in my upper respitory area. Dr. Stowe gave Mom some prescriptions for me and I got a nebulizer. I really like my Mrs. Dr. Krenie! April, 2003   Mom gave me some regular oatmeal today. It is Maple with Brown Sugar flavor. She says it's the instant kind, but it wasn't very instant when she was making it. I was hollering and hollering, but no one got things going any faster! April 14, 2003   Today I tried to get to my tummy. Momma was on the floor with me, cheering and banging the carpet. I don't know what all the fuss was about, I was just trying to get to my stomach so I could grunt really loud and roll to my back again.... Grown Ups! April 17, 2003   Today I got weighed again! I am now a whopping 22 pounds, 12 ounces. Watch out Shaq... I'm coming on fast! April 28, 2003   Got my hearing tested today. I had to see a spesulist (?) and she stuck this funny stick in my ears and Mom said "Oh my goodness, look at all that gunk coming out of his ears!" Didn't they know I was trying to keep some for playing with later on????? Anyhow, the audiologist (getting pretty good with these fancy names, huh?) said I had a mild to moderate hearing loss. My cochlea (rain again?) was find and my ear drum was fine. They fitted me for hearing aids. I'm not telling no one, but I ain't turning them on. I got this 'IG' thing down pat! June 4, 2003   I got my hearing aids today! Boy does everything sound different. Mom and Dad had to talk quieter to me because I would flinch every time they said something to me. I'm not real crazy about these things, but I do like hearing all the new sounds! June 15, 2003   My brother Curtis, my sister Terria and my cousins Diantre and Deshawn came down for a visit. They were funny! I think I got Curtis and Terria in my back pocket...shhhhh don't tell anyone. July, 2003   Momma and Miss Lucy said I got big bumps on my gums. Like I didn't know - I got teeth coming in, did they think my gums would stay flat??? When I get in school I'm gonna have to educate these big folks that us little folks know a thing or two. And whadda ya know, a tooth pops through. Momma said it's on my top upper jaw. All I know is, it hurts - where's the OraJel mom??????????????????? August, 2003   I'm finally going to get my school thing going! The ladies, Miss Kenda and Miss from the school district came to see me. They played with me and I had fun! When I turn 3 they said I could go to school full time. Oh boy! Other kids will be there so I know I'm gonna have fun... I also got my AFO's this month. They look like batman boots. I don't mind them for chillin' around the house, but don't even think about me walking in these things. I got it made - you think I'm not paying attention??? September 3, 2003   I got my wheels!!!! The man from National Seating delivered my gait trainer and he had my wheely too! I like my wheely - I'm not so crazy about my gait trainer though. I think I'm tough enough to let these foolish people know what I like and what I don't like. And they are just going to have to deal with it! {*grin*} October 4, 2003   We got a new house! Yep, Pop found a really neat one and I get to play in the living room now. If ya come by, I'll probably be there, just chillin' and keeping the folks in line. October 27, 2003   Well, I had to give in. Mom and I were in the kitchen. I was in my gait trainer. She was trying to get me to take some steps. I did. I took 5 just so's she'd calm down and boy did she get happy! She started laughing and I started laughing and before you know it, she's calling pop on the phone and he's laughing.... I don't know what was so funny, but I had a good time anyhow. Now I guess they'll expect me to do that all the time. Oh well, it was good while it lasted. I can still 'ig' 'em tho...................... November 12, 2003   I met my hearing teacher from the school district last week. Her name is Tina Perry. She used to work with Amber. Isn’t that cool??? She is really nice. She came today with Ms Kenda and they brought me a new toy. It's called a resonance board. I don't know what all the fuss is about. It's a piece of wood and they lay me on it. Feels kinda strange though. I can kick it and I feel it in my head. Is this like that rain thing? November 27, 2003   We went to Mrs. Dr. Krenie's for Thanksgiving. Gramma & Grampa Walker and Auntie Peggy went with us. I ate some of Mrs. Dr. Krenie’s whipped sweet potatoes – Yum! Yum! We had a good time! December 10, 2003   Went to a Christmas Party at Aldine ISD. Ms Tina and Ms Kenda were there too! I saw some real pretty trees, real live animals and lots of other kids! December 23, 2003   Momma started giving me Fish oil. It's supposed to have lots of good stuff that helps my brain. She squirted the capsule in my mouth and BOY did it taste BAD!!! I was not a happy boy at all! She figured out that if she puts it in my strawberry PediaSure, I can't taste it or smell it. Thank goodness she did that! She is giving me 850 mg/every other day. On Christmas day she started giving it to me every day. December 24, 2003   Went to Rick and Jessie Reynolds, Aunt Lisa's folks, for Christmas Eve. Gramma and Grampa were there. And Uncle Chad, Aunt Lisa and Michael, Jesse and Tiffany. Auntie Peggy was there too! There were lots of other folks there too. They were Aunt Lisa's brother and sisters and nieces and nephews. December 29, 2003   I laughed at the musical mirror Uncle Chad and Aunt Lisa gave me. Mom and Pop got so excited! Before my Speech Therapist went on holiday vacation she asked Mom to fix me up a big mirror and she did. I didn't think a whole lot about it but now - wow! I can see me and the window and everything! It's soooo cool!
